Megan Banham is a certified Speech Language therapist who has specialized in Feeding Therapy. Baby-led weaning is an evidence based approach that involves introducing solid foods to your child in a way that cultivates independence at mealtime. Baby-led weaning allows babies to capitalize on their skills and interest in foods, while allowing them to explore foods at their own pace and establish the necessary skills for eating a wide variety of foods.

Megan was raised in West Jordan, Utah and attended Utah State University (Go Aggies!) for her bachelor’s degree in communicative disorders. She received her master’s degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Speech Language Pathology in August of 2021.

Megan’s professional interests include early language development, hearing loss, and feeding disorders. Megan is feeding trained in AEIOU and SOFFI-SUPPORTING ORAL FEEDING IN FRAGILE INFANTS.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with her daughter, son and husband, as well as baking, painting, hiking, shopping at Target, and watching Friends. Megan loves all things Disney and frequently daydreams about her next trip to Disneyland.
