Physical Therapy With Elizabeth Bakken PT DPT CIM
Welcome to Physical Therapy with Elizabeth Bakken, PT DPT. Liz is a trained play-based pediatric therapist that can see kids from birth to 21 years old. Liz has skills in both habilitative and rehabilitative care. When it comes to habilitative care it usually comes down to help your kiddo do something for the first time. This includes important milestones like rolling, walking, and crawling. When it comes to rehabilitative care this comes down to helping your kiddo return to a state of normal after an incident like a bone break. Liz is here to help your child gain the physical abilities they need to keep up with their peers. The goal is to help your child navigate the environment around them with as much independence as possible. Due to Liz’s background she is able to help treat a variety of cases, many of which will be covered in this course. If you have any questions about Therapy Unmasked and/or this physical therapy course please reach out to outreach@abilityinnovations.com.
