This year Ability Innovations will be offering 5 different summer camps!
Important Information For 2026 Summer Camps:

Currently we are requiring a $50 deposit to secure your spot. This deposit will go towards the cost of the camp which is set for $300 except for the handwriting camp which is set for $400. The remaining balance must be paid the week before summer camps begin. Deposits are non-refundable.
Summer camps may end up costing less than the total amount as the Non-Profit, The Village Behind The Mask, is working on securing grants to help cover cost. We will keep you updated as grants are received.

Cooking, Manners, & Picky Eating
This camp will be held at Ability Innovations In Ogden, 2834 S 1900 W Ogden UT, 84401.
This camp will cost $300. A $50 deposit is required to secure your child’s spot. The remaining balance will be due the week before camp.
This camp will begin June 1, 2026 and It will end July 20, 2026.
This camp will meet Mondays from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM.

Meet Your Instructor
Megan was raised in West Jordan, Utah and attended Utah State University (Go Aggies!) for her bachelor’s degree in communicative disorders. She received her master’s degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Speech Language Pathology in August of 2021.
Megan’s professional interests include early language development, hearing loss, and feeding disorders. Megan is feeding trained in AEIOU and SOFFI-SUPPORTING ORAL FEEDING IN FRAGILE INFANTS.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with her daughter, son and husband, as well as baking, painting, hiking, shopping at Target, and watching Friends. Megan loves all things Disney and frequently daydreams about her next trip to Disneyland.

Emotional Regulation Camp
This camp will be held at Ability Innovations In Layton, 365 W 1550 N Ste H, Layton, UT 84041.
This camp will cost $300. A $50 deposit is required to secure your child’s spot. The remaining balance will be due the week before camp.
This camp will begin June 6, 2026 and It will end Aug 8, 2026.
This camp will meet on Saturdays for 2 different age groups.
Ages 3-7: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Ages 8 + 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
This camp will focus on:
Recognizing Emotions
Sharing Emotions
Processing Emotions
Understanding/Handling Anxiety, Depression, or Anger.
Regulating Emotions In Social Situations
Meet Your Instructor
Kyleigh is a registered and licensed occupational therapist from Woodburn, Oregon. She completed her Master’s degree in occupational therapy at the University of Utah and gained clinical experience in rehabilitation, pediatrics, and community outreach for children and adolescents with visual impairment and blindness. Before completing her education, Kyleigh worked with children with autism and Down Syndrome and loved it. She deeply enjoys pediatric occupational therapy and is passionate about helping children achieve their goals and reach their potential. Kyleigh enjoys spending time with her husband and 2-year-old daughter, walking/hiking, exercise, board games, and upcycling items around the house into toddler toys.

This camp will be held at Ability Innovations In Ogden, 2834 S 1900 W Ogden UT, 84401.

This camp will begin the first week of June and will be scheduled as weekly one on one 30 minute sessions.

Steve was raised in Ogden, Utah.
He attended the University of Utah where he received his Masters in occupational therapy.
Steve has worked in the school setting for eight years. He also works with the geriatric population.
Steve and his wife have four children; three boys and a girl. They enjoy movies, camping, and spending time at the lake.
His favorite superhero is The HULK.
Gross Motor Music Camp

Hi I'm Ellen! I'm a physical therapist who moved to Utah from Colorado 8 years ago, and fell in love with the desert! I like climbing, chasing lizards, and puzzling with my friends and family. My favorite superhero is the Green Lantern because his only limits are the limits of his imagination.

All of our summer camps will be taught by a professional, licensed therapist.

Summer camps cost $300 dollars for the entire summer. This breaks down to $37.50 per session. We will require you to pay a $50 dollar deposit to hold your child’s spot. The remaining balance must be paid the week before the camp begins. Our partnered nonprofit, The Village Behind The Mask, is working on securing grants that may help cover the cost of summer camps. Just because the camp costs $300 it may be significantly less if grants are received. We will update you as grants are received.

There will be no refunds for summer camps.

You are not required to participate in your child’s summer camp, but we do require you to remain at the clinic or in the parking lot during your child’s camp. This is for the safety of our staff and the safety of your child.

Each class is limited to 10 kids.


Social Skills Camp
This camp will be held at Children In Motion In Murray, 5284 S Commerce Dr Suite C214, Murray, UT 84107.
This camp will cost $300. A $50 deposit is required to secure your child’s spot. The remaining balance will be due the week before camp.
This camp will begin June 5, 2026 and It will end Aug 14, 2026.
This camp will meet on Fridays for 3 different age groups.
Ages 3-5: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Ages 6-9: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Ages 10 + 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Kennedy graduated from La Salle University in Philadelphia with her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She grew up in Seattle, WA and loves spending time outdoors, running, hiking, and skiing! She also enjoys reading, cooking, and trying new things. Kennedy is passionate about empowering all kinds of communication and creating a safe environment where children are free to be themselves. Kennedy's favorite superhero is Spiderman, because he puts his community first, and stands up for what is right!
